Payment
Shining Style Limited accepts Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Cash, and EFTPOS. A 2% surcharge applies to Credit Card payments and contactless EFTPOS (PayWave). Charges for alterations are based on an hourly rate, plus GST. An estimated cost will be provided after fitting and pinning your garment. If actual costs differ significantly, your confirmation will be sought before proceeding. Full payment, including GST, must be made before collecting your garment.

Wedding Dress First Consultation
To proceed with wedding dress alterations after the initial consultation, a $200 deposit is required, which will be deducted from the final cost. The consultation is no obligation, and you may choose to receive a quote only. If you choose not to go ahead and only require a quote, a $50 fitting and consultation fee will apply. Alterations will only begin once the deposit is paid, and the remaining balance is due upon completion. Deposits are non-refundable, but consultations can be rescheduled with prior notice.

Scheduling and Cancellation
Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Please notify Shining Style Limited of delays or cancellations. A fee may apply for missed appointments without notice or with less than 24 hours’ notice.

Late Arrivals
Arriving more than 10 minutes late without prior notice may require rescheduling to another available time slot.

Rescheduling
Notify Shining Style Limited at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule.

No-Show
A fee may be charged for failing to attend a scheduled appointment without notice.

Emergency Situations
Inform Shining Style Limited as soon as possible if an emergency prevents attendance to discuss alternative arrangements.

Service and Alteration
Once work on an alteration order has started, it will be completed by the agreed pick-up date. If you change your mind after completion, no refund will be issued, regardless of reason. If alterations have not yet started, partial or full refunds may be considered depending on work already done (e.g., pinning). Completed work is based on approved pinning during your fitting. Any further alterations after completion will incur additional charges. Inform Shining Style Limited in advance if you expect changes in your body measurements. Additional alteration costs apply if measurements change after completion.

Photo Rights
Shining Style Limited may photograph all work for records and promotional purposes. With your consent, photos may include before-and-after images taken during fittings. Client information will never be shared without explicit permission. Photos for promotional use will only appear after the planned event date.

Approval of Completed Alterations
By leaving with your garment, you confirm that the completed alterations meet your specifications.

Change of Mind Policy
Contact Shining Style Limited within 14 days of pick-up to discuss any concerns. Requests for additional alterations due to a change of mind will incur extra charges based on time, materials, and resources required. Additional alterations may affect the original pick-up date; a revised timeline will be provided.

Satisfaction Guarantee
Shining Style Limited strives to ensure your satisfaction, but accommodating change-of-mind requests is subject to additional charges and resource availability.

Customer Satisfaction and Limited Liability
By leaving with your garment, you acknowledge that you have inspected and approved the work. Any further alterations after pick-up are treated as new requests with possible additional charges. Shining Style Limited is not responsible for issues arising from changes made to the garment after pick-up or from normal wear and tear. Feedback is welcome and should be raised before leaving the premises to ensure prompt resolution.
